Day 5 Aug 29

Weather Partly ☀️ Mid 60’s

A good day today. We started our morning with. 5 mile walk over Lions Gate Bridge, built by the Guinness family, yep that’s right the same people who gave us Guinness beer. Click link below for more information.

We walked towards the bridge from our ABNB. We were soon on a bike trail which led to the bridge. Bike and pedestrian share the sidewalk on the bridge. Single file walking is a must. We made it into Stanley Park ( more on that latter) and we’re high above the water. Enjoy our pictures from our morning adventures.

In the afternoon we met with Ian our guide for our bike ride. There were six of us. Vancouver is a very bike friendly City which we’re about to find out. this was a 4-hour tour and was well worth the money we paid. We saw sites like gaslight village. The Olympic village. Chinatown, and many other locations including Stanley Park. Click on link below

This tour is so far our favorite. We saw the city, the beach, the woods and the people. Even got to ride on a ferry. Ian our tour guide has just published a book about his bike adventures. Wild Road, Open Heart: An Unscripted Journey Across the Americas

Looks like your days are full of adventure. We will have to do the bike tour when we are out there.
